What Is Data Science?

i think there are some earlier references to their kind of in at different context. i know some of the original data scientists at lincton who were like the prototypes, if you will, of the term um. In someways it's exactly the same as what those people were doing back then. I thought itit ita deserved some revisiting. It got me thinking about, likew what has datus? What did we think data science was going to be, let's say, 19 years, 15 years ago? And what did it turn out to be,. is what i want to know.
