The Life and Times of William Webster
In 1796, Webster published a collection of papers on the subject of Billius Fever's. This became a standard medical text detailing as many epidemics and disease outbreaks as he could find information on. He had a pretty big family and that meant that their living expenses were high. They moved from place to place as they just tried to make ends meet.
The conflict between Noah Webster and Joseph Emerson Worcester, and their dictionaries came to be known as the Dictionary Wars. To set the scene, part one covers the biographies of the two men.
