There are some scientists who theorize that sarcasm and humor itself evolved in human culture as a leveling mechanism. That's the perfect explanation for Deadpool. Because like making fun of somebody insulting somebody is a way to attack them without physically fighting and getting into a physical battle where people die and are injured. If being good at insults is just not attacking someone, I'm a fucking samurai.
