Six Ways to Reduce Pain
If we are labelling our experience in ways or negative, than we are potentially perpetuating pain. Deep, slow breaths through the nose can send signals to our central nervous system that all is ok and safe in the body. Think of conscious breath like medicine for the body. We can use the breath to soften the pain and help ourselves to calm the drama in our minds about the sensation of the pain.
