i like doing the simplest intervention possible. Not everybody needs to be on psycmeds, in therapy every week,. So you have 53 things on your to do list. Your brain is not programmed or wired to be able to ingest 53 things and not go into a state of overwhelm. If you want to get out of immobility, start by working with the brains design - bite size pieces of information that you can tackle. Once you get three things done, then you get a little, oh, i did it, which is a little hit of dopomen. And that little hit of dopamine will give you some energy to go do another three things, and then another.
It's never fun to feel as if you're stuck. But there might be some advantages to getting stuck that you may not see, especially when you're actually in that state.
