SAS is not awful yes however I would not pick it up for a new project given what the future looks like and given that you can replicate most of these features yourself. You have to be flexible uh sort of lean into the CSS way of doing things and being okay with relearning some types of things but if I were to start a new project today I certainly would go with the vanilla CSS routeYeah me too um I've been doing it for a while I have been totally happy with everything in that regard so yeah if you're out there wondering you know can I do my SAS stuff here I think we just laid it out pretty clearly there's a a ton of things that you can do
In this episode of Syntax, Wes and Scott go through all the features of Sass and decide where we are at with Native CSS alternatives, giving each feature a rating of replaceable, plausible, or missing.
