The Prominence of the Romans in the First Millennium

Eric Liu: This is a response to Dr. Gavin Orland's video on Pope Vigilius and Vatican one. I'm going to have a little bit longer of a presentation than he had, because I added some general stuff here about the topics he brought up. So it's not all Gavin. It's going to be just the general history. But in Gavin's presentation, which I think everyone should watch before. Watching this has four Basic claims. The Roman C enjoyed a general prominence. Prestige primacy of honor. Privilege and preeminence. And that the Roman church was a flagship bastion of orthodoxy for several centuries early on.
