How to Train for a Long Run

There's very few people that I train who are looking 10 months out at just one goal. So we'd be doing a build up to each of those and treating each one appropriately about whether it is a major focus for them or just something we're using purely as a way to train through. And I always advise using races to do that because it's way more fun to do a local race that's maybe say a marathon on the trails.
