There's been a clear like radicalization of the VC and of the investor class. I don't know if what we're seeing is something that is going to last for a while or just this part of a normal boom and bust cycle. It's hard to tell if the golden ages of the 2010s were the norm or the exception. As to whether that's both good and bad in a sense, it'd be nice if people could do more things for Google than other companies.

Paris Marx is joined by Wendy Liu to discuss what it was like to work in tech in the 2010s and why structural changes in the industry are empowering an increasingly reactionary capitalist class to strike back at workers and upend the expectations of the boom period.
