Is There a Spiritual Battle Going on in the Created Realms?

We're told f these kind of broad things in scripture, but we don't know the particulars of how that works out. So it makes sense that when a soul is not actually dead, not permanently dead, but when aSoul is separated from the body, that there would be a spiritual battle over that soul. That's what's going on on earth all the time so why would we expect anything different there?
