Will Earth Someday Be a Cold, Dead Rock?

There are lots of places in our solar system that are made of water. But they would not be on the surface of the planets. The thing that we have that keeps earth warm is our atmosphere, and it keeps it what wonderful temperature,. so that liquid water can happen, and so can life. Aye, that's a long time from now. I don't think that will ever be a cold, dead rock. We're too close to the sun. And for a while, before we are consumed by the sun as it expands into a red giant - but that probably won't be superrelevant to humans.
