Cheryl Stray wrote a novel called Torch in 2005, seven years before Wild came out. Charlie Bleaker: "I have realized that I am intentionally trying to insert alliteration sometimes when I can" Alliteration is the same first sound of a word or consonant of a word repeated. The words just flow with each other in a very subtle kind of sing-songy way.
