The Kingdom of God

When Jesus comes into Galilean, Mark 1, 14 and 15, he says that the appointed time has arrived and God's kingdom is at hand. He calls for a turning and we might maybe say something like a pledging of allegiance. Is that what Jesus is calling to? A turning from other allegiances to allegiance)? Talk to me about that.
