Ordinals - What W2F Is an Ordinal?

A project called Ordinals has launched on the Bitcoin blockchain, effectively enabling Bitcoin native on-chain NFTs. The protocol is a convention for numbering and transferring individual satoshis on the Bitcoin network. Since this release, the project has attracted a great amount of debate in regards to the impact of ordinals and inscriptions upon Bitcoin. I don't know. My jury is still way out on this. However, if an NFT has to exist, it might as well exist in the form of something that is directly against totalitarianism, authoritarianism, and all them other isms that basically don't do anything but make us sad.
