There is this question about what has happened to the leaps and bounds of those early feminist moments where women, particularly women in sport, were not expected to be dainty or feminine. What hope does sport have of maintaining fairness in a cyborgian age when we can make such tiny adjustments to ourselves that it will be imperceptible to anyone who's looking for something as blatant as doping? How does sport even exist in that future? We do need to keep fighting it, don't we? I think a successful society is a fair society, a society that has law and order. Without all of that, we have kind of mayhem.
