Some Erdogan supporters had expected him to win in the first round, but it was jubilant. Most of the young people were still there, waving Turkish flags and chanting hymns from the National Anthem. It seemed defiant and faithful that Khaleesh D'Arolu would be able to squeeze out a win in the second round. But the mood was obviously far more boisterous at Erdogan's rally.
