I am actually in a much better place now and I'm really enjoying that alone time. If you date enough, you are going to go on a rubbish date. It's an inevitable consequence of living in a society where we can't have the difficult conversations. And if you run at the first sign of a red flag, not only does your love life is unlikely to be successful, but also, then you forget that you aren't perfect either. We want to almost bubble wrap ourselves from all the potential hurt that can come with dating by cutting people off because otherwise we're two years down the line.
