He didn't increase benefits, which would have been the most effective way to support those on the lowest incomes. And he made a rather blatant political attempt to curry favour with other torie as a supposedly tax cutting tory chancellor. I perished the thought that people in work should actually be benefiting something. But i don't think you can really criticise a one p off income tax, which will benefit everybody at working. If you own a property in renting it out, you're taxed on it. He's chosen. Why you choices? You do.
