I would say a major backlash to trans rights, partly in response to the tactics that some activists have used. And also in response to this corruption of language, which is fairly crazy making. I know people who I literally can't have relationships with anymore because they've been driven so crazy by this kind of issue. It's just disastrously stupid to be insisting that we use language in this way.
