The Politics of Minor Children in the US

Shadrach M. Choksy: There is a policy that was put in place in 2008 that requires the US to admit minor children. But it has now become the basis of what appears to be a massive human trafficking network, he says. He says families in Central America deliberately send their kids across the border so they can then be taken into these work situations and be able to send money back to their home countries. The U.S. should crack down on this if it wants to prevent future problems like this,Choksy says.
