The Impact of Large Language Model AI on the World
I think the analogy I used yesterday was like the Bronze Age. Like, once someone discovers how to make bronze, right? You know, then everybody's aware of that technology. It exists now. People are aware you can train these things on commodity devices. Now that this, this sort of emergent behavior, large language model AI is out there, you're not going to be able to stop people from using it. We all need to take a stance on it and think about what we think about it. This affects the whole world. It's not just the US Congress who gets to decide how we all interact with something that's going to fundamentally change our lives.
