Interviewing a Bipolar Disorder Patient?
Trainees sometimes get caught up in using too many jargon or medical phrases that the patient's not sure what's going on. Sometimes this can even be things that might have a different meaning in medicine versus for a lay person. The other diagnosis I see that sort of creeping in a bipolar disorder, I feel like that's often thrown around incorrectly just to describe someone with a lay-by on the mood.
