Is There Any Reason for Expecting That Space Will Be Colonized?
Is there any reason to think that space will be colonized, either by uno fully artificial intelligence or by simulations of humans? In either case, it's not clear that these entities would feel constrained by whatever norms of space government. It feels like an extremely long shot to expect that any kind of norms you ened up agreeing on now, even if they're good, flow through to the point where they really matter. There are things that plausibly matter when we're thinking about space - such as anti satellite weapons and how much data is out there.
