I think I was always really curious about the human body, both aesthetically and scientifically. And by the time I got to psychiatry, I recognized that there was something that was related to the physical body but also more abstract than a lot of the other processes because we couldn't visualize that. So my curiosity was piqued by the fact that there was this thing called a brain that seemed to be involved in human psychology. Yet there was a lot of our human psychology that we could not perceive.
