James jesus angleton became convinced that the soviets had moles everywhere throughout the entire west. He suspected willie brant, the chancellor of germany, from being a comme. Angeleton's legacy is still debated to this day. But i think it demonstrates how ruthless and cunning the soviet union was during the cold war.
