A YAMABUSHI - The No Theater Mask

The artist's mother gave him a yamabushi mask when he was 13 years old. It took until much older to get totally obsessed with and taken over by the no theater. So it hangs in the studio, never dusted ever because the dust makes it look older. "I try not to see it every day. I kind of avoid it."
