Satan in the Bible

The word Satan or Satan in Hebrew means adversary or foe. In the book of Job, Satan makes his debut as an angel and a cosmic figure. He appears in the first two chapters and then he never appears again. The crazy thing about Satan is it's clear that he is still on the divine payroll.
