I love that about documentaries that I could shoot with the light that was there. Or sometimes I remember, you know, I need a little more exposure. You know, and so that kind of thing that you're forced to do in a documentary, at least in those days, informed my elasticity later. And maybe it's fair to generalize and say Europeans who were used to working with less in the first place, right? Yes. But on the other hand, there were directors that really got it right, like Rossolini or something,. you know, or Fisconti.
