Same religion takes many many different forms depending on the context in which it is established. Church as an institution of power and influence can very easily cozied up to other institutions of power um that have not been savory, he says. I think we should find interesting aspects of every religion see how they dovetail with our goals and our politics embrace them learn from them and uh and vice versa so rather than fetishizing atheism or trying to overemphasize that especially on the left  I think it's an albatross around our neck to try to promote atheism.
