Why Does the Economy Cycle Like It Does Well?

When things are looking up people put more more money into risky investments crypto currencies also it's a very very speculative kind of risky investments that ultimately can't be sustained. When the economy is growing it does do well but it reaches a point where it's just not sustainable and starts to turn downEveryone pulls back at the same time and that's where you have the trough the fall in the economy, recession or depression whatever word you want to use. The goal role of the government is to make that that's those swings just somewhat less volatile which it has more or less done yeah this was my original question so I'm gonna go back to my original question here which I'm not sure you fully answered
