The Effect of Globalization on Relationships

The traditional bonds and ties that held together social relationships have been incredibly eroded. There's no glue in the social linkages today, so everything is not solid but fluid with a shelf life until further notice. The second grand consequence of globalization for those who are globalizing is that we're living in a world that's ever increasingly atomized. In their place if this goes on to the extremes, you have more and more to focus on the isolated atom of the individual. And the gap between what we're told we can be and what we find we can be because of who we are has never been wider.
