473: No Such Thing As Rice Babies
No Such Thing As A Fish
The History of Childcare
Giovanni Domingi's 15th century manual suggested toughening children up when they were small. He said to dress them in rough clothing, get them to sleep in the cold and give them whole food and wine as a last resort. I'd be interested in the history of childcare, whether it kind of goes in cycles of hard love and soft love - or if we've reached a point now that hopefully it will stay like this. But after everybody's read my book, I'll find the middle way where you have love plus boundaries. Can't go wrong with that. Hugs and guns, it's cool. Nice.
