Hegel's system of science had to be effective as a magic opus, he writes. In other words, the operation in second reality had to escape control and judgment by the criteria of first reality. This thing you do that you call science, it's politics by other means, so you can't judge it, except as a form of politics - or else you're a chauvinist.
