The Church's Failure on Its Vision of Failing in Sexuality

Sex positive respects each of our unique sexual profiles, even as we acknowledge that some of us have been damaged by a culture that tries to eradicate sexual difference and possibility. And this vision says desire plus consent equals freedom. Do whatever you want and if someone will go along with it, you can enjoy total sex without any sort of consequence. Many people don't find freedom. They find bondage. Any sort of morality is just a hangover from a puritanical age. Now we are 50 years deep into this experiment. We can look back and say the church has failed on its vision of flourishing in sexuality.
