How to Become a Buddhist

Buddhism is a recognition of the basic human condition. It invites us not to run away from discomfort, experience it and understand that it arises on certain conditions. A Buddhist is ostensibly one who follows what the Buddha taught to do this,. So how do you become Buddhist? You can't be born Buddhist.
