The Importance of Adapting to Climate Change
Many organisms do have the capacity to adapt to rapidly rising global temperatures. But what we're seeing is that a lot of animals, even though they are showing some adaptation, it doesn't seem to be fast enough. Increasingly, we're realizing that adaptation is one of the components that animals are going to have to use in order to respond to climate change. So really getting to the bottom of this question, I think, is particularly urgent.
