Gish is the platonic ideal Gish to me of like the big popular record that's coming, you know, that gets them on MTV. You get their new album and you love it and you're like, okay, now I'm going to invest in this band. Like Soundgarden is interesting. The early Soundgarden stuff was a much harsher, much more doodly affair at that point.
