The behaviorist revolution in the 1920s basically says, stop thinking about evolution. That dominated psychology from about 1920 to about 1970. Then you get the cognitive revolution, right? Basically what happens is a bunch of grad students in the 60s are trained in behaviorism. And then they learn about computers and b, they do psychedelics and they get very interested in how the mind actually works internally.
