I like to have really small stuff like small palettes. If I can only take a few things, it's usually, I really like cheap tools. When I do pencil sketching a lot, I just buy those yellow pencils like by hundreds and just use an electric sharpener on them. And they are great because you can paint over them pretty heavily and they don't bleed at all. Lately, I've been doing a lot of ink drawings just starting with the ink, just to make the process quicker and quicker to get down. So I'm always challenging myself to get things down more quickly and not spend as much time.
