The Rise of Antidepressants
In 2008, there were 36 million prescriptions for antidepressants in the UK. In 2018, this had risen to almost 71 million. So you've almost got a doubling in the use of antidepressants in 10 years. Is it just simply an issue of growing awareness about the issue? And again, I would say that on this issue, there's vigorous debate.
