Rihaspati and the Charvaka Verses

Rihaspati is an equal opportunity offender, ridiculing both the Vedic believer and the Buddhist or Jain ascetic. Ajita Kesakambala said that there is no consequence to almsgiving, sacrifice, or oblation. As we'll see in the next episode, Ajita also held that a human being has no self or soul that can survive bodily death.
