The Promise of the Land of Canaan
In 1207, the Lord appeared to Abram and said to your offspring, I will give this land. Different Christian traditions have interpreted this promise in different ways. Some groups say that the dimensions of the land promised to Abraham were never actually achieved by the people of Israel. And they want to see fulfillment of prophecy in that.
