I do think that the question of pastoral care and accompaniment is a real tricky one. It's one thing to preach on Genesis, which I really think people should do in a more robust, rich way. But then there are all kinds of different reasons why someone might be caught up in the gender paradigm or why its terms might be attractive. And you can't know that from the outside outside of a relationship with that person and really trying to understand where they're coming from. That requires much more like a personalist approach, I think.
