Nuptial intercourse which is so holy, just and commendable can nonetheless be in certain cases dangerous for those who partake in it. In this case, depending on how greatly one strays from this order one sins more or less greatly, though always mortally. No change of circumstances can ever permissibly allow for the breaching of the law imposed by the principal end of marriage. It is a true mark of a foul, vile object in disgraceful mind to think of meat and food before the time of eating. Honorable men think about the dinner table only when they sit down, and after the meal they wash their hands and mouths in order to ensure that neither the taste nor the smell
