How to Make Paints From Plants
Most plant based inks and dyes are going to be pretty fugitive. For the listener who doesn't know what it is, fugitive implies that it loses its color. Soil paints are pretty solidly long lasting. The iron oxide paints are easy. I had intended to make walnut ink last year. We have a black walnut tree. But so we didn't get many walnuts last year, the animals. It's like tomorrow I'm going to go because I'd heard the best way to do them is in a crock pot. Do it, yeah.
