Is There a Correlation Between Genes and Language?
A new paper on the origins of Indo-European language and culture has been published. The study looked at 700 ancient genomes spanning 11,000 years from earliest farming cultures to post medieval times. David Bianculli: I think we're reaching the limits of the ability of the ancient genomes to speak to issues like proto-Indo-European language history without a lot more involvement from archaeologists and linguists.
