You don't want old resentments festering in the back of your mind. A good rule of thumb is for anything that upsets you, if you're still thinking about it after 24 hours, then you need to say something about it within 48 hours. If you keep holding on to these old resentments, that's like having 15 tabs open that you just can't close. Even if you're not actively looking at them, they still clutter up your processing power.
