I look at failure as a positive thing as long as it's not something that becomes a normal mode of operating, but failure is not a bad thing. The biggest challenge I had to really overcome was this sense of pace. In the venture world, you don't look at things purely at 90 days at a time. Now you're looking at this thing over a multi-year period and helping them build an enduring company. You have to instill upon them your experience and give them guidance on what you think might work or not work. But at the end of the day, you can't make them do it. They have to want to do it.
