Try That in a Small Town by Jason Aldin
Jason Aldin performed a song called Try That in a Small Town at the site of 1946 Columbia race riot and 1927 mob lynching. He says there's not a single lyric in the song that references race or points to it. "I can try and respect others to have their own interpretation of a song with music, this one goes too far," he said.
