Increased Intra-Cranial Pressure Can Be Prevented With a Depolarizing Dose
You will hear about the increase in intraocular pressure, which you can get from succinylcholine. A defecylating dose of a non-depolarizer is a little controversial and there are potential side effects. If it's isolated masseter muscle spasm, it can be an early sign of MH, but it's usually not. Some studies have shown up to 90% of people will get myalgia after getting succes.
